Ok, so the British may have made it first, but we make it better! I found this UK stuff in a supermarket but its terrible! Firstly the colour is all wrong (its a light, almost translucent brown), its kind of stringy/sticky like honey, and it tastes like a cross between vegemite and beef stock! Thankfully I have my own supply of the real deal :)

UK Marmite is NOT the same!!
Ok, so the British may have made it first, but we make it better! I found this UK stuff in a supermarket but its terrible! This is good to know. I shall postpone my Marmite-fetching trip to the UK now; that would have been a ridiculous waste of money! :P
i don´t see what the fuss is about marmite really........
nean you can't even tell the difference between marmite and vegemite! for me, its as big of a deal as you going without V in Spain... nuff said? :P
